Software development company DVT will host two three-day training sessions in May on how to implement Disciplined Agile Delivery (DAD). The training is aimed at IT management wanting to adopt agile, experienced IT professionals wanting to adopt disciplined agile strategies, and experienced agilists wanting to increase their understanding of DAD.
Software development company DVT hosted a three-day training session on Disciplined Agile Delivery (DAD) from 20 to 22 May at The Venue, in Melrose Arch, Johannesburg. This was followed by a seminar on DAD. Presenting at the event was Mark Lines of Scott Ambler + Associates, co-author with Scott Ambler of the book “Disciplined Agile Delivery: A Practitioner’s Guide to Agile Software Delivery in the Enterprise”, which details their approach to DAD.
DVT is a gold sponsor of the forthcoming Agile Africa 2013 Conference with the theme “Agility in Africa”, the first agile development conference to be held on the continent. The event will take place at the Alexander Theatre in Braamfontein, Johannesburg, on 12 and 13 August 2013 and features a number of well-known international speakers.
DVT Academy, DVT’s training arm, has announced additional content and speakers for the upcoming Lean Agile SA (formerly Continuously Lean) conference in Cape Town and Johannesburg in early October.
