Software development and testing company DVT teamed up with Nedgroup Investments to assist with the testing of its newly launched online investment platform, ‘Extraordinary Life.’ DVT’s Global Testing Centre played a pivotal role in the success of the platform, which was named Banker Technology project of the year in the Banker Tech projects Awards 2018, backed by Financial Times.

It takes particular skills and an understanding of the software testing world to be a great tester. One needs technical know-how, the ability to identify the top trends and of course software testing savvy. These are skills that can be learned and practised over time. However, there is one other requirement which is often lacking - passion.

A big part of this process for us as software testers is identifying the most common issues our customers face, so we can better assess the steps we’re taking to solve their problems faster and more cost-effectively.

Software development and testing company DVT is opening a satellite division of its Global Testing Centre (GTC) in Johannesburg. The move coincides with the company’s plans to service all of its Gauteng clients with the same end-to-end testing services currently only available from the Cape Town-based GTC, but with localised facilities and expertise.
